Do I put in the "Save the date cards" that we have hotel rooms available for the wedding and the wedding registery, or does that go in the wedding invitations?

You can include the room block if you wish on the STD.

However, the wedding registry NEVER goes on the STD or wedding invite.  Ever.

I was thinking just send the STD out. And put the info for hotel and wedding registery in wedding invite. They wil still have plenty of time to book a room and the registery.

Again, please do not put the registry info anywhere in the STD or invite. If people want to know where the couple is registered they will ask. Putting the info in the invite makes it look like you are expecting gifts and since gifts are optional they should never be expected.
