Anyone use box mailers?

Hello, I have my heart set on using box mailers for our invitations. Has anyone else used them? I'm hoping for feedback on how to seal them and how they held up in the mail.

The only sealing solution I've found are wafer seals or putting my boxes in a flat rate box. I could make them prettier with ribbon that way and have a standard postage. I'll obviously test mail some boxes as well but would love to hear your experience!

  • I'm not sure if we're thinking about the same thing but this past year I received a silk box invitation, sent inside a box mailer.  First of all, it was the dreamiest, most amazing invitation I have ever received in my life lol.  To answer your questions, the silk invite was wrapped inside tissue paper and placed inside the box mailer, which was simply sealed with clear packing tape and had USPS priority postage on it.
