Las Vegas Reception Venue Help!!

Hi, All!

We are having our wedding in Las Vegas (aiming for October) for 100 guests maximum. We are familiar with Vegas since we live in LA and go frequently, but it is just dizzying how many venues there are...

We are going in a couple weeks to check out a few venues that I've already scheduled appointments with: The Barrymore, Commonwealth, Downtown Grand, Las Vegas Country Club, and the Rumor Hotel, but I want to know if anyone has any other venue suggestions. Our vibe is very much mid-century Vegas (Rat Pack, showgirls, glitz, but not entirely kitschy), budget for food/venue/bar is around $15,000, and any suggestions would be appreciated! :)

Re: Las Vegas Reception Venue Help!!

  • My cousin had her reception in a beautiful hotel room that was like half a huge glass wall. It was beautiful, but it would not have accommodated  100 guests.

  • We live in Vegas and when we started our search we looked for 125 people and wasn't able to find much under 20k. We are having our ceremony and reception at the Veil Pavillion at Silverton.. 150 people, buffet, venue etc 12k. Doesn't include bar. Don't know if that helps you much! Check out Bali Hai golf club, I remember their prices being reasonable.

  • You might want to check out the Las Vegas local board (drop down menu on the right). They might have some good suggestions for you.

    Good luck!

  • Thank you! Just realized that existed... :)
  • Awesome, thanks for the recommendation!
  • I haven't been able to get a couple questions I have answered from the people at Veil/Silverton, maybe you can help me. I haven't seen anything in the info I've received that stated anything about flowers, cake, dj and/or photography. Is any of that included? If not did they provide you with certain vendors to pick from? If you don't mind me asking, can you guesstimate how much each of those cost you? Thanks in advance!
  • My wedding is set for next year and we invited 125 people (hoping the number will go down in final RSVPs).  I have found with my 100+ guestlist, most of the big hotels (Aria, Vdara, Cosmo, Mandarin, Mandalay etc.) charge about $150-$200/person for the catered reception. The ceremony costs is more reasonable.
