Friend needs church downtown Milwaukee

Hi...Long story short...My wife and I are looking for a church in Milwaukee.    He is from Milwaukee but lives out of town and is short on time.  His wife is from a foreign country.    Here are his details:

1.  Denomination does not matter.
2. As close to possible to downtown
3.  No marriage classes or counseling.
4.   He will pay $, but needs a church to give his marriage legitimacy in the eyes of his foreign in laws who will be making the trip.

I appreciate any help you can give on this.

  • I can almost guarantee you no church will agree to not doing counseling first.  Why does it have to be a church? Why not something secular?
  • If you are not tied to having it in downtown Milwaukee, there is a chapel in Delafield on the St John's Military Academy grounds that can be rented.  I believe you would also hire your own officiant for the service.

FYI, if you're not familiar with the area, this would be about a 30 minute drive to downtown Milwaukee, all freeway.
