How to POP the question to your wedding party

I've been trying to decide how to ask my bridesmaids to be a part of the bridal party. So of course I went on pinterest and searched a million different ways, but I fell in LOVE with the custom wine bottle idea. I instantly went to google to search for custom wine bottle labels, but only found very boring ones. Then I stumbled upon Sticker you - It was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I was able to add text, photos, backgrounds - you name it. I totally recommend!!

Does anyone out there know of any other custom wine label sites?

    Pelee Island does free custom labels on their wine bottles, I believe.

    I'm not a fan.

    I wouldn't "pop the question" to my wedding party, because it takes for granted that they're going to say yes.  If for some reason they need to say no, it has the potential to make them very uncomfortable. 

    I'd ask them in a straightforward, dignified way without "popping the question," giving gifts before they say yes, cutesy poems, or any other theatrical gestures.

    I'm not a fan, either. It's becoming so cliche and UNoriginal to find cutesy ways to ask someone to be in your wedding party. The fact that you say you "of course" went on Pinterest also just makes me cringe b/c it implies there's just NO other way to go about it! Pinterest is great for ideas, but it's also the reason all the "unique" ideas are no longer unique b/c everyone is doing them. 


    What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

    The best way to "pop the question" to your bridal party??  Just ask them!  No cutesy ways needed.  When I hear of all these cutsey ways people ask, it makes me think they are teenagers.  You're not 13 anymore.

    Just call them on the phone and ask them. There is absolutely no need to make some weird personalized thing to ask them with.
    I have no idea why people even do this. If you want to celebrate with them all, take them all to brunch after you have your party figured out/those who have said yes have accepted, if they live locally.

    I asked my FI's daughter to be MOH on her birthday, she was over the moon! Random bit-she told her mom and her grandmother that we would be getting married about a month before he asked me...we'd been very careful not to say anything to anybody....
