Sandals all inclusive resorts

I'm looking to plan a destination wedding in the Caribbean at an all inclusive resort. Is there anyone who has done a wedding at a sandals resort or been to one theer and can give me some feedback, comments and suggestions. Would you recommend? Thanks

Re: Sandals all inclusive resorts

  • People seem to either love Sandals or hate them. I've heard lots of amazing things but there are a ton of all inclusives all over the Caribbean so you don't have to limit yourself to Sandals if you don't want to.

Personally, we opted not to go with Sandals for a few reasons. One, we were worried about feeling like we were in a wedding factory and didn't want a place that does so many a day. We also wanted a resort that was a little smaller and didn't feel quite as commercial. Third, we felt it was a little overpriced (for guests) for what you get.

That said, I have a friend who did one at Beaches (the kid-friendly Sandals) and raved about it. She had zero complaints and highly recommended them.
  • I am planning at the Beaches resort and they are very easy to work with. As mentioned above it is very pricey for guests. I would try to find their off season to do with stuff price wise. But as for the wedding details you can go through a catalog and say I want this this and this and it works out great! They are also flexible with the premade packages. We were not a fan of the boutineers so we were able to switch without a problem or extra charge. So far I have no complaints other than the price for guests
