Grand Geneva Spa

I'm getting married in Lake Geneva next year and most of us are staying at the Grand Geneva the night before the wedding.  The logical choice seems to be going to their salon/spa for hair and make-up the morning of the wedding but I haven't heard anything about them (good or bad).  Does anybody know anything about it?

    OHHHH! We went there when I was in HS for a DECA state thing. It was an AWESOME hotel. I have no idea about the salon/spa, but the hotel was amazing! Sorry, wish I could help!

    Whatever you do STAY AWAY from the Avain Spa at the Abbey in Fontana! Horrible experience!

    What was the horrible experience at the Abbey?  I haven't heard anything about that one either.

    My mom has had 2 horrible experiences with the Grand Geneva Spa.  Both times her appointment times were written down incorrectly, and she was rushed through her appointments.  Customer service in general was poor.  Most of the spas that are actually on site at the resorts in the area aren't great.  My advice would be to go to a salon not on site.  One that I have been to in the area that I really liked was Clearwater Day Spa and Salon in Williams Bay.  Hope this helps!

    Hi!

    I am also getting married at the Grand (06/18/2011).  I have not heard/read too many on the spa either.  The reviews that I have seen have been good.  To most the services are really good and the customer service is not.  I am going to make an appointment for my hair in the next month or so to see how good they are, if they can not do what I want then I will start searching for a different place.  I think that we will be good if we stay on "top" of them. 

    Do you want me to let you know how my experience was?
