Having second thoughts!!!!!!!?????

So I've booked caesars palace for my ceremony & mix at the Mandalay bay for the reception. I've been happy with this until now. We'll have our two children with us aged 6 & 4. Once the meal is over at mix (9pm at the latest) they will have to go back the hotel ( we're staying at he MGM) as they are not allowed in mix lounge and this is we're we planned on carrying on our celebrations. Do you think it's fair to have the children go back or should they be with us ??????

I say send the kiddos back to the room. They will need to go to bed after such an exciting day and this will give you some time to enjoy the rest of the party.

I would agree with PP - send them back, they'll be ready for bed and you can celebrate with no worries. Also, I love love love Mix!!! We got engaged there so I guess I'm partial

Depending on what time zone you're coming from, I would think they'd be ready to pass out at 9pm PST or are already asleep and someone has to carry them back. :-)  I love Mix and Mix Lounge.

Who is going to stay with them? I'd hate to ask a guest to leave early, unless of course one of your parents has already volunteered. I know my mom wouldn't want to party past 9:00.

We've got both our parents with us and aunts who have volunteered. I guess I'm just feeling a bit guilty but your responses have made me feel less guilty. Thank you all xx

Oh, that was nice of them. Then, yes, I'd send them back. 9:00 PM is pretty late for that age, and if they're from the Central/Eastern time zones, they're going to be zonked long before that because of the time difference.

Send them back!! If you have the chance send them to another room for a sleep over too. So you get some down time to yourselves after!
