Hi all. I just had my wedding (sniffle,sniffle) last Saturday. Everything was held at our home in Sullivan, WI (which is btwn Milwaukee and Madison).
Catering: Sullivan Saloon: A
Food was very good, stayed warm throughout the 230 people going through it. Only I wish that there were two lines at once. Price was very reasonable as well. Nice restaurant that doesn't advertise doing catering but if you need it done in Jefferson county/Waukesha county this is a great company "under the radar" for doing so.
Officiant: LQ McDonald III: A
We had a friend marry us since he does weddings. He was perfect, exactly what I wanted from a non-religious ceremony. Would recommend anyone looking for someone other than some old guy that talks funny to consider him. I can give you his email address if anyone wanted it.
DJ: Mobile Music (Rick Hill): B
Overall good. I wish I was made aware that he needed all my info sooner and so some things weren't done like our love story. Wish I could've went over everything one more time as well but I ran out of time and the DJ had another wedding he was working on so I didn't feel comfortable calling. He knows what he is doing but I wish everything had gone a bit differently.
Tent, chair,table rental: General Rental in Watertown: B+
Owner was awesome to work with, prices were pretty reasonable, especially since I had all the rentals for one week. Thought the dance floor was kinda bumpy but it worked out once everyone started dancing. The tent was beautiful.
Flowers: We did our own and would recommend anyone to do this. The bouquets were practically free since I picked the flowers from someone's garden and everyone made their own the night before. Seemed to work wonderfully.
Dress: Kays Bridal A++
Loved my dress, loved the girls I worked with, loved the price, etc.
Centerpieces: Bought pots from Steins on sale, and the greenery from wal mart for a total of $5 a centerpiece. Deal, Deal,Deal
Any Qs just ask
