Random annoyances

So I am already annoyed because I am home on yet another snow day that we will need to make up after Memorial Day.

I sat down to watch a movie with a bowl full of fresh veggies the yummy French onion dip I splurged on. 

It's not French onion...  It's green onion.

I am sad now.

(It's always nice to vent to someone about silly little problems and not have to worry about being a huge baby.)

I am annoyed that there is not a badge for 1K love its. I am also annoyed/appalled at the amount of racist things people are going on about Richard Sherman's post game interview.

@smalfrie19 -- I read a really interesting article from a local sports guy about how Sherman has a Communications degree from Stanford, and how he surely knows what he is doing and the power of the message he chooses to convey.  Definitely made me think...

Yeah, I don't get all the backlash against Sherman. Maybe he was a little brash but Crabtree was the one who shoved Sherman when Sherman went to shake his hand! People are being really rude about it.

1. I am annoyed by the ridiculous amount of Super Bowl stuff in my FB newsfeed. I have been hiding people left and right, which helps. I get that FB is about telling people what you care about, and obviously I have the choice to hide you, but NO ONE wants to see 15 football-related posts in 5 minutes.

2. I am annoyed by my co-worker, because she keeps e-mailing me photos from our company's FB page. Bitch, I am the fucking social media manager. I have access to the FB page, and I saw the photos, and I'll post them when I get to them, but you don't need to be up my butt about them.

3. I am annoyed by the over-reaction to the snow. People, it's Central PA, and it's January. Snow happens.

I am annoyed that it is still winter. I know living in the northern plains means there are four seasons (two interpretations: almost winter, winter, still winter, and construction. The other interpretation is we have all four seasons, but fall and spring last approximately 72 hours each), but this year for some reason has just felt endless. Maybe it's the cold, maybe it's the unusual number of winter storms, but I'm over it.

Funny here in the PNW we have almost rainy season, rainy season, still rainy season..and construction.

People are saying racist things about that post-game interview?! I mean, I definitely thought he was cocky and obnoxious during the interview, but race has NOTHING to do with it.

In NJ it's construction, construction in the snow, construction with extras from "Jersey Shore", and construction on something that was just fixed!

Today I am annoyed with public transportation.  Specifically, people who do not understand A) that you need to let people OFF the subway car before you can fit inside, and that when you are blocking the entire subway car with your stroller, you might need to step out, let people off, and then get back in again.  It's just like an elevator, people!  There's one door!

I'm also annoyed that my subway line was running really late and thus super crowded.  I'm sure there's a reason why snow affects underground subway operations, but darned if it makes sense to me.  I just know it's fucking freezing and I want to get home!

I am also annoyed at my co-worker who doesn't cover his mouth and nose while sneezing because "It's just allergies, so I'm not contagious."

I'm annoyed that I haven't yet heard about school tomorrow. I'm sure we're going to at least have a delay, because the roads will still have snow on them. I hate when they don't call that and wait to see if it will be a closing instead. I'd much rather they call a delay and then change it; then at least I know I can stay up...

right now and today I am annoyed that my university is making it near impossible for me to solve a problem with a grade change and I really need to get that done ASAP for a Med School requirement

I am annoyed with my boss, because he is a giant baby. He pitched a fit about the University being closed tonight because of the snow and was stomping around the office about it.

I am annoyed that my tv keeps turning itself on and off. I think it is because of the cold because the last time the temps got this low it did this.

@smalfrie19, I cannot believe the stuff people post on twitter. I'm so ashamed that so many of them (judging by their twitter pics) are between the ages of 15-30. I died a little inside after reading that.

@AshleyNicole1218 its makes me sad. I mean you can agree with what Sherm said or  think he was out of line... or whatever...but I was APALLED!

How I felt about high volume doc review today...

Only to have FI tell me he's thinking we should do a first dance (despite decision of the past 9 months not to dance) plus have photo slide show, and several other things at our wedding....

We are 6.5 weeks out, I've done all the planning with his approval on things (aka, I get it together, tie him to a chair, and say, ok, these are the options, what is your favorite)....and a week and a half after I place order for cupcake favors, he thinks we should have something on top of that....

Talked things over. Despite what tons of people do these days at evening weddings (and the only two we've been to together have been mid/late afternoon/all evening/night affairs, and freakin long), FI is now ok with things, though he still wants to talk an additional favor (such as stemless wine glasses in use at reception), and we may put up slide show in room where hors devoures are being served.

I should be answering questions for the officiant, but instead now I'm going to enjoy a glass of wine.

i've been wanting to sneeze all day but it hasn't happen yet. Knowing i'm a seahawks fan so i might be biased but sherman backs up his loud mouth! Also people kept holding doors open and setting off alarms, shut the door dummies!

I'm annoyed that they haven't come to shovel our porches/walks yet. I get that it's still snowing, but the snow is now blocking doorways and completely covering the steps to our building. We pay a boatload of money for this service, so why haven't they provided it yet?! Grr.

The dry cleaners gave H's suit (his only suit, quite expensive, and fairly sentimental, he wore it when we got married) to the wrong people, so they had to call the people they gave it to and ask them to bring it back. The people are on vacation so they will not be able to get it till next thursday. Ughhhh. If they still try to charge me for it I'm just gonna laugh and walk right out the door.

I think DH is snow blowing. Now. At 10:30 PM. Evidently he wants the neighbors to hate us but I'm too tired to make him stop.

And now I'm annoyed because we have another snow day...

That is #6 since CHRISTMAS BREAK! We have had 13 scheduled days of school in January, and have had 6 snow days and 2 late starts.

I'm never going to get these kids ready for their musical in March (since, you know, we've had 5 days of practice so far this month...there is one class that I haven't even seen yet this year!

I'm annoyed that you all get snow days and I don't, with my "we never close our doors" school board.  -40C, wind chill and 2 feet of snow and we still go in.  "Polar Vortex" makes me laugh that it's even an issue (though I know we have better infrastructure, blah, blah, blah)
