I saw the episode from last week.  I seriously hope she is 'showing off' for television!

I just watched the sneak peak but she is unreal. She says she's from Racine though so I'm not sure if you're referring to a different episode?

The first episode said she lived in Madison but was getting married in Racine. The second half of the show is on tonight.

I can't believe that anyone can act like any of the brides on that show.  All I can think of is that they were raised spoiled and entitled and no one has ever put them in their place.  It makes me wonder how they ever found someone who would want to marry them.(That being said, I watch the show on occasion simply because it's like a bad car crash.  You don't want to watch but you can't help yourself...)

Her guests were starving because the wedding was so late getting started so they ate all her candy from the candy bar before dinner! She was pissed off! What a witch.

I ran into a woman who was actually on the show.  She told me the inside scoop on her and how she was "playing up" a bit.  Apparently they get $2500 and if you don't act outrageous enough, you don't get on TV and thus, get no money. However, why in the world would her future mother-in-law take half the garbage this uneducated, rude snot would throw at her?  Cleaning her dress with a toothbrush, listening to her call her names, etc.  For a lousy $2500?  I'm not saying I"m rich but I would never act like this toward others--she is truly low class all the way.

OMG!!! I saw that preview at my sister's house, can someone please tell me how it turned out? Did her mother really clean her dress w/a toothbrush?, is she still married? Details please.

poor Heidi (MIL)... she actually did clean the dress! And in order to avoid having to buy her a NEW dress- she had to box it out with Karee (sp?) for 3 minutes. Which, IMO, Heidi won.I laughed so hard when she was all "get a bag full of the silver balls" and they they were gross AND she dropped the jelly beans every where. It was nasty that she still used them though. And of course people, esp. little kids, are going to eat your candy if you starve them!DUH!

$2500 would not be worth acting like a total fool on television. I've always figured there was some kind of catch to that show. Now knowing they get money to play it up and act like total lunatics makes sense. Although, I don't think I could cheapen and degrade the most important day of my life just for $2500. I have this episode DVR'd and now I can't wait to see it!

Agreed... I don't think it's worth the money.  I don't think this girl was faking it. How can you even think up those things, like the boxing, or smashing up the card box!?!  Yikes!!!  I figured most play it up, but this girl burned her bm's shoes with lighter fluid.  That's real money.  This show is a great reality check on how we should not be acting.

MH actually likes watching this show because its so funny to watch these women FREAK OUT.  Just insane.  $2500 in comparison to how much most of these women spend on their weddings?  Not even enough to cover a honeymoon. *shakes head* That chick from Madison/Racine was insane.  I was so mad when I saw SHE called the cops and they ESCORTED HER to her wedding?  MH said "God, those officers have to be so pissed now!"  I said "Yeah or when they spoke to the off-duty officer she was going off on!  When SHE nearly drove HIM off the road."

For those of you who missed it, I'm sure it will be on in reruns. This one has to be a classic show, a bridezilla of all time.  Too bad she was from WI.

She has to advise ladies about registering at Tiffany's. Wasn't it CLGB that registered there?
