March 2014 Weddings

What to ask rehearsal venue.

Here are some questions I asked are there any you think I should add?
1. Do you offer a set menu?
2. May I come up with my own set menu?
( 2appitisers, 3 entrees, 2sides, 3 desserts kind of thing.)
3. Does X price for your set menu include tea, soda, water?
4. Does X price include adult beverages?
5. May I choose to have my guests pay their own adult beverage Tab IF and only IF they choose to have one?
6. Is it still legal to charge 18% gratuity on parties of more than 8? ( was informed recently I would not be charged automatic gratuity because it is now illegal. As of 1-1-14) don't know if it's state to state though.

7. Do you have vegetarian options?
8. What are they?
9. Do you have gluten free options?
10. What are they?
11. Is there a private dinning room?
12. What times are available for a party our size?
13. Is dinner family style ( maid of honor please pass XYZ or plated)?
14. Do I need to provide you with each members plate choice?

    I would add:

"Is there a fee to book / rent the space for the rehearsal / dinner?"

"How many servers will we have for our group?" (assuming the meal is served and not buffett style. We're having 40 people at our rehearsal dinner and we will have 4 servers)

"Is there a separate kids menu?" (Assuming kids will be there)
