Losing Weight Before Wedding

Hi all!

I'm sure there are have been PLENTY of posts like this before but I want to get other's opinions as I'm starting to get a little worried. I ordered my dress 9 months out, and I ordered a size 24. Skip to today(5 months before wedding) and I've lost 10 lbs and plan to lose more before my big day on June 28th 2014. I'm concerned about how hard it will be to take in my dress. Has anyone ran into this problem? Were you able to get your dress altered a few sizes? I hope this is not impossible!

    I lost 20 pounds before my wedding. My dress had to be taken in twice between the end of January and the end of March. 
    What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

    A good seamstress can certainly take in a dress a few sizes.

    A good seamstress can do alot.  I bought a sample dress that was 2-3 sizes too big and had no trouble getting it altered to fit perfectly.
