Yay or nay to illusion v-neck on my wedding dress? (w/ picture)

Hey everyone!

I love my dress... I already bought it. But my mom is giving me my doubts on the illusion neckline. It's stunning to me, and it suits my theme and venue perfectly, including the long chapel train.

I think it would look gorgeous either way. Personally, I don't like strapless - too many horror stories of falling down, pulling down, too big on top, etc. - but it's up to you.

I love it! I think it makes it stand out a bit from all of the strapless dresses I've seen. If you like it, ignore your mom and keep it as is!

It's a pretty dress and with the way the straps are, they aren't a distraction or anything. As long as you love the dress, feel beautiful in it, can move around in it - just stand your ground and tell your mom you love the dress.

I think you answered your own question, YOU love it and that's what matters. Usually it's the other way around, mom's urging their daughter to get something with straps so they aren't tugging at it all day/night. Honestly I like it the way it is, I think that the illusion straps are so unique and will be beautiful!

I think it's stunning- I'm slightly biased because I love illusion necklines anyways. But if you love it, then that's what the final answer should be.
