During the planning process I found these types of reviews to be extremely helpful so I'll post my reviews in hopes it helps some of you!
Venue - Scioto Reserve:
A+
We had both our ceremony and reception at Scioto
Reserve. Ann Marie is so easy to work
with and helps throughout the entire planning process to make sure you’re on
track. The view with all of the windows
is beautiful! The venue is modern and
made for great pictures! The bridal
suite and groom’s quarters are awesome!
It was so nice for all the girls to be in one place for hair/makeup/getting
ready. The groom’s quarters is complete
with TV’s, a poker table, and pool table which all the guys really
enjoyed! After the ceremony the staff
was able to quickly and flawlessly flip the room and set up for the
reception. The bar area is great for
cocktail hour and nice in case guests want to get away from the music. The food was delicious and Ann Marie was
accommodating to any special requests we made.
She also made sure to check with me or my mom throughout the night to
assure everything was going smoothly.
She definitely strives to make the day perfect and I would say she
achieved that! I highly recommend Scioto
Reserve!

We are so happy with our choice in Brian! His pictures are both beautiful and
contemporary. He makes sure to capture
any special pictures/poses you want and makes sure details are organized beforehand
so there’s no stress or confusion the day of.
He recommended we do a first look and we’re so glad we did! It was still just as special and it allowed
us to take all of the bridal party and family
pictures before the ceremony so we were able to mingle with guests
during cocktail hour. During dinner he
puts together a slideshow of wedding pictures for guests to see during the
reception which everyone enjoyed!
Officiant - Chase Waits:
A+
We decided to meet with Chase after I found many
recommendations on The Knot. He has a
great personality and is easy to work with.
When he met with us he gave us a big packet of ideas and we could
customize the ceremony the way we wanted.
From that packet of ideas we found the wine box ceremony! It was a unique and special touch to our
otherwise traditional ceremony and we received so many great comments from
guests! We couldn’t be happier with our
decision to use Chase!
DJ - Buckeye Entertainment (Byron Gunter): A+
We decided to book Byron solely on the reviews we found on
wedding websites and we have no regrets!
We can see now why he comes so highly recommended. He is awesome to work with and his online
planner is easy to use! It’s a great way
to keep track of requests and allow guests to make requests. He made sure to keep us on schedule and kept
guests on the dance floor all night!
Everyone had a great time! In
addition, you can’t beat the price!
Ceremony Music - Fermata Music (Mitch/Dean): A
Throughout the process we worked with Mitch. He’s organized and is open to whatever music
you would like to be played. The pianist
was able to learn a song for our recessional, which was special to us! There were a few times Mitch was slow to
respond but that could just be because it was around the holidays. The pianist, Dean, was great and the music
sounded excellent.
Flowers on Springtree Lane:
A+
Anne and Robin are so sweet.
They understood my vision and made it turn out beautifully! They were also able to suggest little touches
that made it even prettier. The prices
are also much better than some of the other places around town I visited.
The Cake Studio: A+
Our wedding cake was beautiful, simple and elegant, just the
way I wanted it. The cake was delicious –
the cake was moist and the frosting was light with just the right amount of
sweetness. She also designed our grooms
cake which turned out awesome and for an excellent price!
You’re Invited: A+
Sarah is fun and easy to work with! She has so many ideas and samples to look
through! She created custom proofs to
choose from and we were able to mix/match to put together our final
design. She was also able to carry the
design through our other wedding stationary (table numbers, escort cards,
signage, etc) which added an elegant touch to the wedding. We received multiple compliments about our
invitations!
Alterations - Alterations on Lane: A+
Joyce is great and fun to work with! She is honest and very critical of her work,
which is just what you need when getting your dress altered!
