Does anyone else watch this? I love it but my FI thinks it is creepy. He is upstairs watching How I Met Your Mother.

FI and I love The Following. It's one of the few shows we watch together. I also watch HIMYM, so luckily we watched The Following preview last weekend, so I get watch both tonight. But, if my shows overlap, that's what the DVR is for. I've got both shows set to record every week.

I watched through the last season. I thought it was really good but I don't have it in me to keep watching it. It's so violent and scary it was stressing me out. When Joe Carroll died (or wtfever happened since it seems he's back, judging from the commercials) I figured the show was over. Too much closure, I guess.

I watched it all last season. I hated and loved it all at once. I watched the preview last weekend, and can't believe I forgot how graphic it is. It messes with my head big time, but I can't not watch it.

I LOVE The Following! I hate watching it by myself though because it freaks me out!

my husband and I are addicted to that show! We just watched season 1 again to get all hyped up for the premiere last weekend. We could not watch last night so are dying to get home to watch the next episode. Agree it is super creepy but I just love it.

I DVRd it and watched it last night.  We knew Joe wasn't dead.  Let's see where it goes this season.

FI and I Skype every Monday night to be able to watch HIMYM together.  Even if we are late getting home, we wait for the other.  I'm kinda bummed that the last episode is the day after our wedding.  I'm not sure if we'll get to Hawaii in time to see it.  Waiting nine days without reading any spoilers will be hard.

I keep meaning to watch it. I need to d/l the first season and get caught up. It's definitely something I would be into but I forgot it was on and then just never got around to watching it.

I watched the following with my H last season and enjoed it even though it creeped me out. I really don't have a desire to watch this season, not sure why. Also, I am sad that the following is on because I miss Sleepy Hollow. PS this weeks HIMYM was AMAZEBALLS.

I LOVE The Following. It's supposed to not be as gory as last season, so if that was a deterrent, maybe this year you can watch it.

I wanted to watch this. Have a question, is it a cop drama? I'm thinking along the lines of NCIS or CSI? That's the only thing that's keeping me from watching it really.

Nope. It is more like Criminal Minds meets Silence of the Lambs meets the Manson family.

I never would have thought of that description, but now that you said it, I couldn't think of any more appropriate way to describe it.  That really sums it up perfectly.

You can download them on iTunes or Amazon the day after tv airing.  It may cost a few bucks, but sometimes its worth the cost if it's killing you to wait.  Fox.com also will stream for free.  But, they have 8 day waiting period, unless you have certain cable providers.

I absolutely love this show!! I DVRd Mondays new episode and haven't gotten around to watching it yet. I also love American Horror Story, so even though I hate scary movies I must love creepy and violent shows.

It's pretty gory, but I like it too! I had to cover my eyes, I don't know what it is about stabbing people. Seems too personal or something.

Also, those are procedural shows, so they have one case, solve it and then move on. This is similar to 24, in that it's a continuous story that has some things solved, but then something else will pop up.
