Crap...

I ordered our Save the Date magnets last week for a crazy good deal -- I used a groupon for vistaprint, plus I found another promo code, so I got them for like 70% off. Hooray! Anyway, I meant to include our wedding website on the magnet, but I couldn't remember the URL and was planning on adding it later. I forgot and placed the order. Would it be weird to include something with the magnet when I mail them out that has the website on it? I don't even know what I'd do that wouldn't look awkward... a notecard or something seems weird.  Or I can just skip that and send the URL with the wedding invites...right?  I feel like this isn't a big deal but of course I'm starting to get twitchy over it...

    I think you could include a little card with the STD to give the URL.  Or, you could just sent it around as an email once the STDs are received.

    ETA: how long ago did you place the order?  If it was very recent, can you try calling VistaPrint to change it?

  • I placed it last week, and I'm supposed to receive them on Friday..so it's likely too late :\

  • I think it would be okay to include a little card with the STD... or wait until you send the invite. Or is there any way that you could add it to the magnet (writing it or put a sticker/label) without it looking weird? We originally had thought about doing small calendar stickers with just our names, date, and web site. Maybe you could include something like that, along with the magnet?

    Hmm... I didn't think of adding something onto the magnet, but that might be an option... thanks!

    I recently got a STD where they had a little strip of computer paper with the wedding website typed on it, just stuck on with a nice sticker that fit the color theme of the STD.  I think it looked fine.

    ETA: Their's was also a magnet.

  • I included a card with the STDs.I ordered business cards from VistaPrint (as well as magnets) and got pretty cardstock and envelopes. Then I took Glue Dots and fastened both to the card stock. I wanted to do that mainly b/c the magnets are small,  and I thought it would be weird just to have a loose magnet in an envelope.

    What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

    @tmclawchick

    We did the same thing but then we just ordered cute little business card type things with our website address on it and put 1 in each envelope.
