Losing my mind!

So I am 12 weeks pregnant. H and I decided to have a panorama prenatal test done. This test will tell us if the baby is low/high risk for a bunch of genetic or chormosomal conditions. Plus we can find out the sex with this test! I called my doctors office and the test results are in! So now I am sitting by my phone, going crazy waiting for a nurse to call me back.

So please help distract me! Funny gifs? weekend plans? Really anything to keep me from staring at my phone.

I am supposed to go to a 1-year-old's birthday party tomorrow, but that's it for my weekend plans. The rest of the time will be spent finalizing semester grades.

My weekend 'plans' are to do a whole lot of nothing, no wedding planning, no parents in town and no FI (he works weekends). I have been in desperate need of down time. I am planning to be watching scary movies in my PJs and eating popcorn for a majority of the weekend.



So by Sunday night I'll be super happy and well rested again!



But most likely I'll get roped into gallivanting around with my girlfriends and talking about random crap...



Then they will relive their dating adventures (which are always entertaining)!



Then we will drink lots of wine together and end up with the rest of our friends (the guys and my FI).




Also I know you are stressed so don't hate me but it's losing not loosing* unless that was the joke. Sorry it drives me nuts!

Owls are the best.  I am obsessed with birds in general, but owls are one of my favorites.  Pretty sure it's not legal, but I really wish I could own one as a pet.  They're just so friggin fluffy I want to hug them all!  Especially when they're babies and they're just a ball of fuzz with huge eyes.

I am going to see Dallas Buyers Club tonight. And then I am sure I will be trapped in the house for the rest of the weekend since Chicago is getting its 657th snow storm.

AWWW, congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Well, tonight I will be going to happy hour with my coworkers, so my night will be something like 

tomorrow I have to run 8 miles as part of my training

then going to my little cousins 7th birthday party

Then on sunday we are heading to Long Island for a superbowl party - woohoo!

Well, I was just going to host it myself. But I was going to send my MOH a list of tasks that  need to be accomplished. She was the MOH for my wedding but I think her responsiblities should carry over to my baby shower. She didnt do nearly enough for me when planning my wedding.

 I was thinking its fine to have the guest address their own thank you notes, right. I mean, I am the Mommy, and I cant be bothered with little details like that.
