Flight help!

My Fiance is from Idaho and I live in North Carolina. He will be flying in from the wedding and then we are both flying to Idaho after the HM from Florida. Any advice on flights? We just want to sit together. Do we buy three one way tickets? His from ID to NC, and then ours from FL to ID? or do we buy a multi-city from ID to NC- FL to ID and I buy a one way for me from FL to ID? What is your advice on what we should do? Or can you buy a roundtrip and just add me on? We need to know what the best option is :) Thanks in advance! You guys are great!

Re: Flight help!

  • So he's going Idaho > North Carolina > Florida > Idaho.

And you're going North Carolina > Florida > Idaho.

It's easiest to buy one one-way ticket for him to North Carolina, and then two, multi-city tickets for both of you from your wedding, to the honeymoon, to your home. But the only way to find the best option is to price out the different ways of doing it.
  • Agree with emmyg....the best way is to price it out online the different ways.  I've found that whenever possible, it's best to book multi-city tickets......one-way tickets often end up more expensive.  Good luck!
  • Don't forget to check Southwest.  They don't charge extra for one-way tickets, and don't charge for your luggage, either.  They won't appear on most travel ticket browsers.  You need to check their website.

  • He is going Idaho-North Carolina

Then we both are going Florida-Idaho.

We will be driving down to Florida from North Carolina
  • There is something called an open jawed ticket (multiple destinations) on most airlines.  I use this on my cruises.  He can fly Idaho - NC, and return Florida - Idaho.  You need a one-way ticket.  Like I said, try Southwest.  There is no extra charge for one way, and they fly to Boise.
