Atrium in Norcross, GA

Has anyone attended a wedding at this venue? Any stories that you care to share? Thanks!

Re: Atrium in Norcross, GA

  • I attended a wedding there last fall. It was ok to be honest. The parking situation is funky...we had a difficult time finding the actual lot you're supposed to park in and it's in kind of a I don't want to scary...but definitely rundown area of Duluth. Even though the outdoor ceremony space is very intimate and hidden from public view you can still easily hear the heavy traffic that surrounds the venue and all the trains that pass by. Also, the cake was kind of dry and just blah (you have to use their baker...otherwise you pay an extra $1.50 per person to bring in an outside baker).

I toured a couple of venues owned by Magic Moments (they operate The Atrium) and honestly I think the whole experience came off as very corporate and wedding factoryish. You are required to pay for a $450 buffet table decor (this is the case for all of the venues they operate)(. The charge itself is vague and they don't really detail what exactly you're getting out of it. I was also irritated by the fact that if you contact one Magic Moments venue...say the Atrium for example...then the other four venues start contacting you for your business as well. It's kind of annoying.
