Received a few wedding gifts yesterday. Out of the three, one was missing any kind of packing slip indicating who it was from. Since we registered through amazon, I went on the registry's "Thank you" section to see who had purchased it so I can write my note.
Imagine my surprise to find my godmother had purchased the remaining sets of china (2), the remaining soup bowls (5), and all of the fruit bowls (8) from my registry! I couldn't believe she'd spend that much on me, and I'm really touched by her generosity. I'm glad I am able to see who purchased what before it arrives- I now have the extra time to compose an extra nice thank you note!
