No Inner Envelope but...

Hi Ladies.

 

I just got my invites and I knew they were not coming with inner envelopes. Here's an  idea I had, the backs of my invitations are decorated with the invited motif, but are white (the fronts are a blue). Can I write the names of everyone invited like you would on an inner envelope on the back of the invites and then stuff the envelope with them backwards? or is this weird?

    I think it's weird, but they're your invites.
    You can buy full pages vellum paper and fold it around the invite like french doors. Write the names on it. 
    Or just address the outer envelope properly to state who is invited.

    Yeah that would be weird.

    Just put all the names on the outer envelope.  We didn't have an inner envelope because I find them to be a waste of paper, so we just listed each guests name on the outer envelope.  Easy peasy.
