ceremony sights in Milwaukee

Hi ladies! My FI and I are not religious. We have an officiant (friend of family) but no venue. We are looking for a ceremony location near downtown that is relatively inexpensive. Anyone have any advice/ideas? TIA! Lu

ICHC. It used to be a church. http://www.ichc.net/ You have to see it in person before you decide because some things are in need of repair, but it has some nice features. If your wedding is in the summer, however, ICHC won't likely work as the woman I spoke with when I was looking into it said they don't rent it out usually for the summer as there is no air conditioning. Just something to consider. Good luck!

Charles Allis Art Museum on Prospect can hold up to 150 in their grand hall. This is the sister museum to Villa Terrace and less than half the price. You can do an indoor or outdoor ceremony there and it has a lot of character because it is an old mansion.

we are getting married and having our reception at the Milwaukee War Memorial. It has gorgeous views and the banquet hall holds up to 260. It's a Milwaukee County facility so the event rental price is reasonable, especially is you choose an off day. You do have to pick from their list of approved caterers. We have been working with Amanda Bink there and she has been great to work with.
