Off the shoulder or straight straps?

So lovely ladies!
Here's the wedding dress I have my eyes on -

(It has a lace up corset back) I want to add a sash and some lace sleeves. Do you think I would have to add lace to the whole bodice? I'm bigger on top (~38 inch bust & 27 inch waist), so I want to avoid extra bulk up there. Here's been my inspiration...

How would you design the bodice/back of a dress like this? Straight or off-the-shoulder sleeves? I'd love to hear all your thoughts!!

    I like the top right picture.  The lace is in the straps but continues down to the waist line.

    If you haven't bought your dress yet, why not just look for one in that style that you want? Seems weird that you'd pay for the alterations of adding that when you can just buy that style.

    I tried on some off the shoulder and felt very restricted tryng to lift my arms up. Try that on and see if it would bug you.
