NWR: Valentine's Office Gift for Him

Anyone have a great idea for a gift to send my FI my Valentine's at his office?  The only thing I've been able to find for under $50 (with tax and delivery) is flowers or chocolate.  The chocolate would work but we're both on diets, so I don't want it to look like I'm trying to kill the diet (our V-Day dinner will do that) and flowers just seem too feminine for him.  I was wondering if anyone knew of any other ideas that I could have sent to his work?

Footnote:  He'd love to get something at work, in case anyone was wondering, I just can't decide on what to send him.

  • I was thinking an edible arrangement too.  They have stuff in a lot of price points, and you can get one without chocolate.
  • You can get one of the cute chinese food boxes from Michaels and fill it with mini donuts and put on a tag that said "I "donut" know what I'd do without you."

Or get a compass and say "Where would I be without you?"  Is he outdoorsy?

Does he like craft beer?  I got my FI craft beer chocolates from a company called NuNu based in Brooklyn.

I know a lot of these are food based, but they're small treats!

but how would she send any of those gifts to his office for him?
  • Why don't you pick up lunch from one of his favorite places, make or buy a card to go with it, and drop it off at his workplace? If there's a receptionist, they could just send it up to him. That way, you can pick something that's healthy-ish and still surprise him.

  • Those online florists have some cool manly things like bonsai trees, succulents, etc. that I considered getting before I learned my fiancé had the day off. Worth a look!
  • I can't remember if it shipped UPS or if it was courierd (like flowers), but one year my mom sent my dad a Vermont Teddy Bear.

If it's something that's coming from a company, it can just be shipped to his office or you can do what @ElcaB suggested.
