Another 8-12 inches of snow Thursday.

Someone gave me a recipe for Snow Ice Cream. I am conflicted because I am tired of the snow but I would like to try it.

Ingredients:

1 cup milk (any kind)1/3 cup granulated sugar1 tsp. vanilla extract1 pinch salt8 cups clean snow or shaved ice (more or less depending on the density of the snow)

In a large bowl, whisk milk, sugar, vanilla and salt together until combined. Go scoop up some fresh (clean!) snow, and immediately stir it into the milk mixture until you reach your desired consistency. Top with sprinkles or other ice cream toppings if desired.

The ice cream should be fluffy and not runny, but it melts quickly, so dive in right away!

ARGH!! I have one set of neighbors that are total asshats. We live in garden apartments, 4 units in a building. We live in one o the downstairs units and they are in the upstairs unit opposite from us. They have loud parties several nights a week - loud enough WE can hear them in our unit. They also can't park for shit and always have guests that take up the precious few parking spaces we have available in our lot. I just went outside to check the weather and see that they cleared the snow off one of their cars - and left it all in the space between their SUV and my car. The space that FI and I spent 2 hours shoveling out today. I suspect I will be up and out earlier than them in the morning, and I'm so tempted to shovel all the snow back on top of their vehicle. I also figure they're going to park in my cleared out space before I get home from work and I'm going to want to slash their tires after I park my car on a snow pile on the opposite end of the complex. Grrrrrr...
