For brides who used Minted for invitations UPDATE: Never mind!

My partner and I are planning to order invitations from Minted, but we're not sure what to do about RSVPs. We were originally planning on having people RSVP by phone or through our wedding website (the invitation would list the option for either). A lot of folks on the boards have mentioned that wedding website RSVPs might not be the best idea, so we're looking into RSVP cards from Minted to go with our invitations.

However, it looks like the RSVP cards just let guests indicate if they're attending or not. Does anyone know if Minted has, like ... a secret RSVP card option that lets guests make meal choices? If not, how do you suggest we handle RSVPs?

We're going to have three options (beef, fish, vegetarian), so it's definitely necessary that people know to give us their meal option when they RSVP.

UPDATE: Aaaand I've answered my own question (yes, you can add menu options). Oh well! I won't DD this thread so it can serve as an answer for other couples, and just an example of my failure to Google.

  • Love that you kept your post up with the answer you found! It did help me :)
  • How did you end up doing this? I can't seem to figure it out.
  • @jcamson So, it might depend on what option you're selecting for your RSVP cards. We picked postcards instead of regular cards in envelopes. On the back of the postcard, it said, "Share a message with the happy couple" and instead, we edited it to have the menu options instead.

If that doesn't work, you can just add the information in the special request box. Let me know if that works for you!
