Hello all, After a year and a half of engagement, my fiance and I are finally starting to plan! The wedding is next august, and we are currently searching for photographers in the Milwaukee area. We would like to keep our budget less than $1500. I really liked Kayla Richards photography but she is already booked on our date. I like what I saw from Cara Zimmerman--anyone used her? Does anyone have any suggestions for good, flexible, inexpensive photographers? I am also doing most of the planning while living in Minneapolis, so websites are very helpful! please let me know!~SJ

Cara Zimmerman is awesome! She did our engagement and wedding pictures and was very easy to work with. I highly recommend her. We booked her through Expressive Photography, but I believe she is branching out on her own.

I had looked at their website and obviously loved the prices, but I wasn't a huge fan of all their pictures they had posted. Have you or someone you know had experience with them?

They photographed a wedding for a friend of mine last year. Their wedding isn't up on their site but the pic on their main page is from their wedding.

I would check craigslist, they have a ton of people who are starting out in the biz. look in the events section, they have LOTS of people who have examples, Some of them are as low as 600, with great pics to see. And they include engagment pics too as well as a dvd.cd of all the pics. So if you dont like them after your engagment pics you can pick someone else.
