hair salons-long island, ny

i am relatively new to long island (i live in massapequa, but the reception is in woodbury), and my boyfriend isnt a big help in this department... can any of you guys help a girl out and suggest a place to go for myself and bridal party hair, day-of wedding...? i want a salon that doesnt have, like... zebra and glitter exploded all over it.
