FI makes me wonder sometimes.

We will call the 1st guy / guy from linked post guy F and the 2nd guy we will call guy X

Anyway, as much as I tell my fiancé about things I see / read on TK he still made me shake my head. He has pretty much given up on guy F  (in my linked post) since he has called him 20 times between then and now. We both have sent him text messages and nothing. No response at all. Not even a "I will call you later".

So... my fiancé goes and decides to ask another friend (guy X) to be a groomsman....

I told him that wasn't cool because he basically replaced guy F.... (yes I DO understand his reasons / thoughts). He said it's not that big of a deal because guy X is cool with it. And guy X doesn't know I wasn't going to ask him anyway....

I'm just shaking my head because we have had our bridal party picked out for a while now.... I think guy X knows but undo-ing it would be even worse.

*SIGH*

    My FI was a last minute addition to a wedding before, (I didn't know him at the time) and he was actually just super excited to be in it.  Hopefully that's how your FI's friend will feel? 

    Note: Lurkers- This does not make it appropriate, and you *could* really hurt someone by doing this

    Oh boy, I remember your original post on the situation. Men are sooo clueless smh. Hopefully his friend does not think much of it, and is actually truly excited. FI needs to spend some time here on TK lol.

    He knows he's a "last minute" addition. (We still have a few months yet) and he seems like he's fine. He said he would perform any and every role we want him to.

    And yes, to any lurkers, this is a bad idea to do since it can seriously hurt feelings and maybe even end friendships
