Anyone ever taken off their heels and worn those wedding slippers that they sell at David's for the reception? How'd it go?

I have not (because my wedding is still a few months out) but I would say that you could just go with some cute flipflops or something. My sister did that and that was more comfortable than slippers

I just changed into a pair of ballerina flats at my reception. It went fine but I did have to lift my dress some to walk and dance because the length of my dress was done to go with my heels so when I took the heels off it got a little long. But I didn't let it stop me.

I picked up some cheap ass wedge foam sandals for like 5 bucks during the after summer clearance. Not sure if I'/ll wear them or not. But if you want a comfy footwear option if your feet hurt, definitely get something your know is comfy. I.E I wouldn't chance the davids bridal stuff.
