Fun thread idea! My venue is a high-end restaurant (sort of like a country club vibe) with a view of the Manhattan skyline. It's Mediterranean in style. A few pics:
Outdoor ceremony location:
And the view:
"I'm not a rude bitch. I'm ten rude bitches in a large coat."
Beautiful venues, ladies!!! You will all look spectacular, too!
We wanted a venue with a rustic "feel" to is, so...Tewksbury Country Club, Tewksbury, MA
This one is smushed--not too sure how to fix it haha! But this is the Grand Sequoia Ball room:
Above is a bridge they have outdoors near the golf course--it is similar to my favorite bridge near my house where Patrick proposed, so I love that we can have wedding photos done here! We're hoping to do engagement photos at the actual bridge where he proposed!
I love all of these venues, ladies!!! They are all so beautiful, fabulous, and unique. Can't wait to see pics of when you guys have your weddings with your personal touches
Here is my Venue, it is the Loeb Central Park Boathouse in NYC. We are thinking of renting Gondola rides for the evening, but that is an extra expense so we will decide that if the budget allows for it. The last picture is a picture I found by googling Boathouse pics and I love what they did with the outdoor garden area, so I'd like to look into that.
We're getting married in the church we attend, that I am also the Music Director at. It's an old building but beautiful, full of stained glass and dark wood pews, and a beautiful grand piano. These are the only pictures I currently have of the church that don't include a ton of kiddos for VBS.
The reception however is equally old and beautiful. It's a restored Victorian Mansion that had a large meeting hall built into the back of it. Beautiful out front, but plenty of space for dancing. And a beautiful grand staircase to descend into the festivities.
I love this venue so very much. This is located in New Albany, Indiana right across the river from Louisville, KY.
