    My parents (almost 40 years ago) were married in the United Church of Canada. My brother and SIL (5 years ago) was married in the Anglican Church. Neither my mom or my SIL are Catholic. Both had a Catholic priest present and perform a small amount of the ceremony. Because of this, they have both received the sacrament of marriage. There's no way the diocese would let this happen if it was at an outdoor venue.
