FI and I have decided to temporarily post pone the wedding. His paperwork to enter the military as a firefighter just came through. It was supposed to be a difficult branch to get into, so it came as a surprise for us.
I'm happy for FI because he has wanted this for awhile, but I'm still really bummed about having to put things on hold. But it is better to do so now while we can still get the deposits back than to find out he would not be available due to basic or wherever he ends up getting stationed.
I know I'm probably just being whiney, but I kinda wish he would just have a small JOP wedding and then he can celebrate with all our OOT friends and family later on. FI is pretty dead set of a bigger ceremony with family and friends present though. :-/
