First snow now rain...e

I know! We have like 6 inches of new snow on the ground right now and it won't be done till tomorrow morning, then thursday it's supposed to be in the high 40's and rainy, so that means flooding, then friday it's supposed to get really cold and everything will freeze. I would loooove to just not leave my house until it's spring and there is no snow anywhere.

So sick of winter! We're supposed to get more snow again tomorrow. Since I was off from work today, I spent a while shoveling up the snow/ice in the parking lot that was melting due to the sun being out. There's literally nowhere to put the snow. The piles are well over my head at this point. FI just asked if I thought the snow would be melted by the time our wedding rolls around in July. Ugh.

I seriously cannot handle winter any longer. All it does it snow. I can't keep looking out the window and see snow falling. I've got the worst case of cabin fever and the wintertime blues. Poor FI has to put up with me being a grumpy gus because the weather has taken a serious toll on my mood. We're supposed to have 40s here the rest of the week as well but it's supposed to rain most of those days so it's not like it will even be enjoyable.

3-5 more inches today on top of the two feet we already have on the ground. I can barely see over the massive mounds of snow.

The orange disk in the sky seems to be providing heat in my area! It's actually up above freezing! Yesterday, today, and tomorrow ... then it gets cold again.

We have a high of 81 today :-)

But it snowed less than a week ago.
