I'm going to brunch on Sunday with my Bestie, and a mutual friend of ours from elementary school. They didn't know where to go, so I told them I would research some places and give them the info so we could all decide. I found 4 restaurants of various cuisines that I thought would be great, and sent them detailed information yesterday: Name, cuisine, location, price, whether or not I had been there before, and the amount of "bottomless" time that we would get. My Bestie was the first to respond, and she said she wanted to go to the Thai spot on the list, our friend agreed. I made the reservations, and confirmed the information with them.
A little while ago my Bestie asked me what the name of the restaurant was, so I told her. She then asked where it was located. Okayyy.... She then asked what time brunch ended there, to which I answered that I didn't know, but the bottomless option is for 1.5 hours. So she asks "So brunch is only for 1.5 hours?" >_< I explained the concept to her (mind you we go to brunch a lot). She then asked what kind of food it was. At this point I was pretty annoyed, so I told her "Thai. You said you wanted to go to the Thai spot, and we all agreed." She then says "It's traditional Thai? So no eggs?" Lord.....
Her next question is " You've been there before, right?" I explicitly stated in my text yesterday that I had been to that place and it was fabulous.
After what seemed like a too long conversation on the topic she finally gets it. I deserve a prize for the patience I exerted. Only cuz she's my BFF lol.
