My kitty is the flower girl but my Mum is saying animals have no place at a wedding. How do i remedy this.

I would have to agree with your mom.  Is the cat actually capable of walking down the aisle on cue?   And what if a guest is allergic to cats and stuck sneezing and breaking into hives for your ceremony?

I would agree with your mom and doubt the venue you are looking at (aquarium) would like cats there.

Kitty (super original name) would be carried down the isle by one of my friends. It would be outside on the deck. The aquarium people said that I could have kitty as a flower girl if I had the ceremony on the outside deck. And I guess what is actually getting under my skin is my mum is trying to run everything her way. Because her wedding was a disaster with ebony our pitt bull knocking eveything over.

Would your cat not get skittish or shy?  Or get her claws out and scramble out of the person's arms and try to make a run for it?

Also, is she an indoor cat (ie. is only ever at your house) or an outdoor cat (free to stay inside or go outside to roam whenever she wants)?  I ask because when I was moving with my indoors cats, they seemed to have a mini-melt down and hid in the carrier, one face down in the corner like an ostrich with their head in the sand and the other just sitting there, not moving and poofed out.

I have no problems with animals at weddings (my dog, my uncles dogs and my cousins dog are going to be at mine) but I'd be worried that the kitty would freak out. I wouldn't put my cats through that.
