Totally Bummed :(

I found out earlier today that a previous mentor of mine passed away this weekend. It was a rock climbing accident, so it was sudden and unexpected. He was also my DH's boss, so we're both just completely heartbroken. I'm by myself on travel right now and don't really have any way to vent. I don't deal well with death and don't like to talk about, but just needed a place to get my feelings out. Thanks for letting me get it out there!

I'm so sorry. My former boss and friend died two weeks ago. Apparently it was cancer and she had been sick for at least a couple of months, but for me it was totally unexpected. We had a Words With Friends game going

@Blergbot I am so sorry for your loss. It's very difficult to process when you see someone, have conversations with them, and laugh with them and then the next day, they are gone.

ugh the wine turned me into a sobbing idiot! My DH called and said "I remember how he helped us get together and he really liked you a lot." Well, that just did me in.

I found out more about what happened and it is just so tragic. A total freak accident.

Oh no, how terrible!  I am always so sad when I hear about tragic accidents like this.  Anybody dying is sad, but sudden deaths are especially hard to deal with.  I'm so sorry for your loss.
