I had to sign on my phone to see the pictures, work blocks them.  And that's why I would love to move to CO!  Even a girl that's never lived in the cold.  When FI and I went there two New Year's ago I fell in love.

I've been in awe every night.   Super nice people at the club (our temp housing).

DH forgot to tell me to pack a swimsuit so I've been missing out the hot tub.

We get the keys to our new place on Sat, but our stuff might not arrive for another week or so.  Our views will be similar although we face south.

    Deplorable!

Haha in all honesty, CO looks amazing! I am sooo jealous right now. Good to see you are adjusting well  - and by the looks of it, so is Chef D!

I love Colorado. DH is supposed to get a relocation package at work today for Littleton (not quite as scenic). I am pretty sure we won't end up there again, but this definitely makes me want to reconsider!

Sorry - quick thread hijack…yay for another Coloradan @CMGragain! We're in Denver. I have a coworker who lives in Grand Junction and commutes to Denver every Monday, stays with a friend through Thursday night, then drives back to GJ on Friday morning. Oy vey!

Most people who live on the western slope wouldn't want to live in Denver either.  It's a completely different lifestyle over here.  A lot less snow, too.  I do envy your shopping opportunities, though.

Actually, they make good wine here in Grand Junction.  There are wineries all over town, one with a rather silly French Chateau restaurant.  Twin Rivers is one of my favorite local labels.  We also specialize in growing peaches and apricots.  My neighborhood was built on an old apricot orchard.  Nobody buys peaches in the grocery store.  You just buy them out of a truck parked on the corner.
Our nearest ski area is Powderhorn.  For fancy skiing, you go to Telluride, a two hour drive.  Most popular activities are golf, hiking and bicycling.

Oooo I haven't been out that way yet, but I hear it is lovely there! Someday, when I can save money for something other than my wedding, I'm going to start traveling again!
