Flowers on a budget

I'm getting married in Milwaukee in July and I'm looking for an AFFORDABLE florist. I just hate the thought of spending $1000 on something that will be thrown away the same day. I'm no flower pro so I'm not picky at all.

Re: Flowers on a budget

  • If you just want simple bouquets, corsages, and bouts....why not consider a grocery store floral department? Seriously!!!

Sendiks, or even Pick n Save. I went through a grocery store for mine, and it was incredibly reasonable.
  • Really? Did you just put the arrangements together yourself? Was it an easy process? Just not sure if I want to be putting flowers together the night before

    Nope! No DIY here! <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-smile.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" />

Sendiks is full service for sure. They made <em>and</em> delivered all of my bouquets, bouts, corsages and arrangements!

I also know Pick n Save will also assemble basic bouquets for you.

Of course, you'll still have to give at least a few weeks notice (as with any florist).
  • Were you happy with the quality you got from Sendik's?  I'm seriously considering them because I only need my bouquet, three bridesmaid bouquets, bouts, and corsages.

  • Absolutely. I took in pictures of what I wanted...and they matched them exactly!

I did all roses for the bouquets. My bouquet was around $80, each bridesmaid was $40. Bouts $10. Wrist corsages $20.
