Lazaro trunk show

I am planning on going to a lazaro trunk show, but I am not sure how it works.  Can anyone who has been to one let me know how it works?  I want to know the discounts that you received and what the experience was like.  Thanks for the help!

Trunk shows are the way designer show their newest styles to the public.  The dresses have not yet been produced in quantity for samples to be in the shops, so they travel around with a "trunk" of new styles, taking orders.  Usual discounts might be 10% to 15%, seldom more.

I got my Jenny Packham gown at a trunk show. It was a completely "normal" experience, except I tried mostly Packham gowns & they were offering a 10% discount. It's definitely worth going and trying a bunch of dresses on, even if yo don't end up with one from that particular designer.

Thank you!! I just made my dress appointment today.  I'm hoping that with the discount maybe a dress would be in my budget.

I went to a Lazaro trunk show yesterday. There was a discount with Lazaro gowns, but they were still too expensive for my budget. The consultant warned me that Lazaro has recently started going up in prices lately, and it showed with the gown I wanted to see. Hopefully you'll find one within budget!!

Much too low I found out after looking at prices.  Even a 10% discount wouldn't come close.  Oh well!

You can find several lazaro's sold on preowned and other sites. Want to buy mine?!?!?

I think i'd like to just find a cheaper dress in my budget and really have that bridal shop experience.  My budget is large enough to buy a nice dress just not a $4000 one.  If I can't find a dress I would consider purchasing a pre-owned.  Thank you!
