And the numbers are in!

Our RSVP deadline was On feb 28! The numbers are in!!! I will give this week for the couple stragglers of last minute mailings.  

We invited 79 people and budgeted for 70 and our minimum F&B is 55 people - which we already paid for. 

52 RSVP'd to the wedding! A few people had a couple things come up (2 got pregnant, 2 have to move 2 days before the wedding, 4 think its a "sin"(very religious family) others for whatever reasons). This works out perfect because it covers the vendor's meal in the cost and we no longer need 2 buses! We can it with one large coach as they hold 55 people! 

However the biggest "wtf?" rsvp no was FI's Dad and his step mother... They put "Sorry, can't make it, don't feel like travelling that far". They are old, I get that but they live in LA and it is a 4 hour drive and they are flying to hungry for the summer 3 weeks later! Its frustrating.  

Woot! 61 days to go!

oh my goodness!!!! sorry had to laugh at the sin part...we have people like that! 

most of my FI's family is flying in from LA it's a quick flight! that's to bad they aren't making it!

It must be a relief to have a good count I can't wait till I can get my final numbers. Inviting 50 budgeting for 35 hopefully at least 20 will show

omg KikiMira I know exactly how that feels! We are from LA and FI parents will not be coming either! It really bothers me because neither of our family is very big and I know if it were up to him he would have them be there since he is pretty close to them. They didn't really give him a reason but I'm sure it is because of me. We lived with them for 5 months but we had to leave because they said we could stay there but my 2 children from my previous marriage could not, so that pissed me off and I have not spoke to them since. anyways 52 is a great number though! We originally had 2 buses but now we just have the large bus too Can't believe it's almost time!

@valerie~ that is so sad! I only have two people from my family flying down ( we live in washington) but 95% of my FI's family lives in the LA area so we decided to do it in vegas b/c it would be cheaper for them to fly over to vegas
@jaime~ your's sounds like mine! i'm budgeting for that many but will be happy and suprised if 25 show up

yeah. It will mostly be my friends and family going. The only family of his will be his 2 sisters and his best man will be his best friend. Everyone else will be on my side. I have my uncle and my cousins flying in from Colorado on top of everyone else I have coming from LA.
We originally invited 50 and have 43 people coming so the difference isn't too bad.

ssteele04 - Yeah it is super close, its so frustrating! Yeah I laughed when I heard that. OH well. Can't win them all over.

@Valeriecruz82 - Oh my gosh. That sucks so much! I cant believe his parents. I would not be happy at all!! FI's family is very small as well. He says he doesn't care but I know he does because for the last 5 years he has really been trying to build that missing relationship with his dad. Dropping to the single bus saves us a bit of money.

@jaime85120 - I am glad we have less people to deal with lol. It will be less of a headache trying to get crap dealt with.
