Would this work together?

I am thinking about using my FI's grandmothers pearls and my great grandmothers heart pendant as my something old and something borrowed. Would it work with my dress or no?

I don't think a necklace is necessary with that dress but it wont look bad. and if it is important to you go for it.

I wouldn't wear a necklace with that dress.  Perhaps you could wrap the necklace around the stem your bouquet.

I also wouldn't wear a necklace with that dress. Could your wrap it around your bouquet like @doeydo suggests or wrap it around your wrist?

Unfortunately, a necklace with detract from that gorgeous neckline. The suggestions to wrap it around your wrist as a bracelet or around your bouquet are good alternatives.

Can you try the dress on sometime with the necklace? I did that at least twice to try on different looks before I finally came to decision. I do like the option if it doesn't look good as a necklace to use it as a bracelet.

agree to wrap it in your bouquet. I think it will distract from the detail on your dress... but you never know-- try it on with the dress and see what you think in person.
