Hey everyone!
I'm hoping someone might help me - I'm getting married next summer (June 2015) in Portland, Maine, and am struggling to locate a ceilidh band in the area. Does anyone know of one? As a bit of backstory, my fiance is Scottish and many of our friends and family will be over from Scotland and of course it's not a Scottish wedding without a few traditional dances. We're very keen to include some Scotland inbetween the Maine touches... so ideally we're looking for a band who can play Strip the Willow, Dashing White Sargeant, Gay Gordon's, etc, and might not mind finishing out with an Auld Lang Syne/I'm Gonna Be combo (as we had at a recent wedding in Glasgow that went down very well!), that would be ideal.
Any advice would be great, as I'm coming up a bit short so far...
