Oh I wasn't one of the most interesting ones, for sure. You should've have peaced out of the Treehouse, you'd probably know by now if you hadn't   BUt really, I still had posts that included a picture of myself in the sig for a long time. I haven't tried to search it for a while.  My content definitely wasn't deleted.

I love me some good drama and etiquette discussions, but I wanted to drink myself into a blackout after reading that mess. I just can't fathom not being able to understand the difference between tradition and etiquette. Or why anyone would choose to post on an etiquette chat board when they clearly never intended on following suggestions.

OP seemed to take the suggestions pretty well at first until everyone began telling her over and over again that her fiancé should not have the party even though there were no etiquette flaws and accused her of asking for the party. I feel like I was reading a completely different thread than everybody else. Or maybe I'm just a nicer person who doesn't always focus on the negatives and make rude assumptions about people. Who knows.

So, I am finally checking out the posts today and I wanted to see what went on after I answered the request for a LA bride to respond to the ridiculous statement that all LA/NO weddings atrociously break etiquette. I was searching for the thread why this one popped up. Did she ever reply to my post? Did it help at all?

You're right- she was fine when it was just about the honey-do party. However, she then decided to post about the lack of etiquette in her wedding decisions- and bragged about it! Hence, my comment about posting something on an etiquette board when you have no intentions of following it.

Agreed.  I was actually on her side about the honey-do, which really should have just been a BBQ.  She just went BSC and started telling us about not having enough chairs, she's buying the food for her own bridal shower, etc.  That's when shit hit the fan.

I agree that she shouldn't have brought up all the other wacko-obviously-against-etiquette things she had planned, and I'm sure it was just to cause more drama because she was upset about all of the previous negativity she had received.

Whenever there's a topic on either board about how horrible the other board is, I find myself searching for reasons I post on WW besides, "I am really THAT bored sometimes."

I came back and saw "135 new" on the "Honey-do" post and was just like, forget it. I'm sure I just missed more of the same craziness from the first 9 or 10 pages!

I read the entire thing (without commenting on it) and it truly was the cherry on top of my Friday sundae. So bad that it was so good. And I'm still laughing about the crab comment and the following gifs of the musical chairs!!

I think I made it just about to the end, and was involved in a discussion about the lack of mods/ unresponsiveness from KGs, toward the end of the thread.  Then it poofed.  

It's really strange how banned users' content gets deleted along with them.  Makes for some weird reading when I find old posts missing huge chunks of info, then see what I was missing in a quote box and it makes sense again.  There's got to be a better way, but that would involve only deleting the offensive posts and leaving the others.  And gee whiz, that would require time, wouldn't it?

Yeah, that is pretty weird. I've been a member of a lot of forums and that hasn't been the case at any of them. Usually a banned flag appears under their name or something, and they can't post, but their posts/threads stay unchanged unless the mods go in to edit/delete them. 

But then this is also the only forum I've seen where the quote boxes constantly glitch so that you're forced to type in them sooo...
