True. But why track people down to the point that you want to un-invite them?

Just plan on them attending, and if they don't, extra food! (This assumes that there are just a few people who have been AWOL.)

Sorry I meant my post as more as a joke. I would never actually even wish to un-invite someone. It's just more of an annoyance than anything considering I've given them a stamped and ready envelope. 16 more days!

Well, I could see why one wouldn't want to assume they were coming if he/she is paying a significant cost per person.

I've always been told that if someone gives a maybe type answer or doesn't RSVP then it's fine to assume they aren't coming but that should happen after attempting to follow up with them. That's how we will approach it because no RSVP is inconsiderate to the people trying to plan and the people who have RSVPed. If these people show up "I'm very sorry mr and mrs jones but we never heard back from you and even called with no response so we naturally assumed you weren't coming and had given out vendors the final numbers and you were not included in those numbers."
