Cookie bar help!

Hi Ladies,

I was hoping you could give me some advice on this one. My FI is having a cookie bar instead of a groom's cake. I'm talking about 5-6 kinds of large cookies (not the petite kind you usually see at weddings) and possibly milk to go with them. We also liked the idea of providing bags so guests can make their own cookie bag as a favor. My question is, as a guest, would you be confused on whether to eat the cookies while at the wedding, or take them home? Would it be better to pre-bag some for our guests? Thanks for the advice!

I think if you have plates at the cookie bar and to-go bags that people will understand they can eat them there and take them home.

If I see cookies at a wedding, I'm going to eat one or two and take a few for the road. Esp. if there are bags. I think most people can figure it out.

I'm also doing a cookie bar! High five!
