    You and Fi shouldn't be hosting your own shower.

    More importantly, you shouldn't post a link to your website with personal information, such as your shower date and location. Internet safety and all.

    OP - As I mentioned on another identical post, it's in poor taste to host your own shower.  If someone offers to throw one for you, wonderful.  Otherwise, you just don't have one.  But hosting your own gift giving event just looks gift grabby.

    Since it's poor form to host your own shower, I would not be bragging about it. 
    What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

    Apologies to all - I understand that it does indeed look like I'm hosting my own shower in the post. I just wanted to clear the air that my mom and sister are actually hosting - we have been brainstorming the past few weeks and these are all of the ideas I'm really excited about.
