Hey guys!
It's been a while since I've posted (and I've never posted on this particular board), so I figured I'd do another "getting to know you" along with my post.
But first… Do any of you have any board game theme ideas?
We have already planned out our save the dates and invites. We'll be using customized Arkham horror character cards for the save the dates and a customized Ticket to Ride map for our invites (but ALSO cut as a 54 piece puzzle).
We would like to incorporate meeples and dice also, but don't have any concrete ideas for the reception itself.
Any ideas?

Re: Board Game Theme Ideas
Now that I've got that off my chest, daughter threw in a few nods to gamers. She found a place online that made custom gamers' dice with their first names on one of the faces. Those were her favors. I told her she would have to pay for them. She had a groom's cake made with a photo of Dungeons and Dragons on top. The gamer people thought it was cool. The rest of us were clueless. She paid for that, too.
Sorry, but I like traditional weddings.
I'm debating getting an inflatable D20 to have people roll for us to kiss instead of clinking glasses....not sure if it will work in real life though.
One of FI's friends had a wedding where each table was a different board game (themed in decor and also the board game was there for entertainment), and they chose games according to peoples' tabletop experience (e.g. non-gamers were given something like Candyland whereas others had Pandemic, Catan, etc).
Have fun! Sounds like an awesome party :-)
