  • If you have a close personal relationship with her then I don't see the issue, just ask her to be a BM.

  • Is your boss your best friend? Then go for it.
  • If you are super close than I would ask how she feels about it. BUT it also pulls her into your super personal circle (if she's going to your bachelorette party, etc) so professionally be careful.

  • This is an epically terrible idea. Run from it. Invite her to the wedding but do not make her a bridesmaid!
  • This is something I don't think I'd do, just to play it safe and keep any aspect of my personal life and relationship with the boss from becoming problematic on the job.

Have you been stupid drunk in front of your boss? Does your boss know some of your deepest secrets? When all hell breaks loose in your life, is your boss one of the first people you'll call for support? Would you call your boss for bail money after getting arrested? Unless you can answer "yes" for all of these then your boss has no place in your wedding party. I think it's fine to ask your boss but also understand this might create an interesting dynamic in the workplace in terms of favoritism.

What a very odd post to delete. We all know what you asked...this doesn't eliminate it.
  • Most unnecessary DD of the week! There should be a badge for that.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14
